Holy Amarnath
The Amarnath Cave Temple, abode of Mahamaya Shakti Pitha, is located in the Pahalgam tehsil of the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir at an altitude of 3,888m (12,756 ft). The cave, surrounded by glaciers, snowy mountains except for a short period in summer, is reached through either Sonmarg or Pahalgam.
Itinerary
Day 1 : MUMBAI – SRINAGAR
Day 2 : SRINAGAR TO SONAMURG
After breakfast (Depending on Convoy timings) depart for Sonamurg – the Meadow of Gold. The drive to Sonamarg is through spectacular facet of countryside in Kashmir, the Sindh Valley. Legend has it that a well in the vale has been bestowed with water, which is further bestowed by mystical qualities of turning everything into eternal riches – gold. Sonamarg derives its name from it. Dinner & overnight at Sonamurg.
Day 3 : BABA AMARNATH DARSHAN
As per our Heli schedule, depart for Holi Cave Darshan. Dinner & overnight at Sonamurg.
Day 4 : BABA AMARNATH DARSHAN
As per our Heli schedule, depart for Holi Cave Darshan. Dinner & overnight at Sonamurg.
Day 5 : SONAMURG - SRINAGAR
After breakfast depart for Srinagar. On this day we’ll have sufficient time for Srinagar local sightseeing which will include : Moghul Gardens like Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh & Shankaracharya Temple, Shikara ride in Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight at Srinagar.
Day 6 : SRINAGAR - MUMBAI
After breakfast depart for Srinagar Airport to connect flight to Mumbai. Tour Ends.
