He has been accorded the status of saint by believers who refer to him as the Baba (saintly father). Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake, originally known as Kha-Chot-Palri (meaning the heaven of Padmasambhava), is a sacred Lake for both Buddhists & Hindus, which is believed to be a wish fulfilling lake.
