Zanskar is a high altitude semi-desert lying on the northern flank of the Himalayan Range. The Zanskar Range is a mountain range in the union territory of Ladakh that separates the Zanskar valley from Indus Valley at Leh. This area is famous for treks like Chadar Trek. The majority of the population have are Buddhists.
Itinerary
Day 1 : SRINAGAR
Day 2 : SRINAGAR – KARGIL
Sonamarg, Zojila Pass, Drass, Vijay Smarak
Day 3 : KARGIL - RANGDUM
Suru Valley, Kartse Khar, rock statue of Lord Buddha, Rangdum Monastery.
Day 4 : RANGDUM - PADUM
Padum, Penzila Pass, Drang Drung Glacier.
Day 5 : ZANSKAR VALLEY
After breakfast visit Zangla Monastery & Stongdey Monastery and after lunch visit Karsha Monastery Enjoy evening at Goroo Monastery. Night stay at Padum.
Day 6 : RANGDUM - KARGIL
Penzila Pass, Rangdum.
Day 7 : KARGIL – SRINAGAR
Technical Journey via Drass, Zojila Pass, Sonamarg.
Day 8 : SRINAGAR AIRPORT
After breakfast departure to Srinagar airport for onward journey to your home town. Tour concludes with Lifetime Memories.
